Newent Lake Sculpture Trail

Did you know that whichever direction you are coming from the Daffodil Line gives you around an hour in Newent, before your return journey? Longer if you like of course, but an hour is the perfect time for a wander around the lake and a chance to admire the nature-inspired sculptures along the way.

Dotted around Newent lake you will find six artworks, all carved from the same massive Turkey Oak The final pieces were installed over the summer – can you find them all? Turn left as you get off the bus, the lake is straight ahead.

the path around the lake is fully accessible for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and pushchairs, there are plenty of benches and picnic tables, and dogs are very welcome on leads.

As well as the sculptures you cana enjoy a changing spectacle of wildlife through the seasons. In autumn expect plenty of waterfowl, squirrels, and of course carpets of golden leaves to crunch through.
