Kids Go Free on the Daffodil line this summer

We are pleased to be offering free travel for all passengers aged 16 and under on the 232 Daffodil Line Bus Service throughout August 2023.

The 232 Daffodil Line offers services every 2 hours between Ross-on-Wye, Newent, and Ledbury, seven days a week including evening services on Friday and Saturday.

Young passengers can travel free independently, or with an adult – who will need to pay the standard fare.

“In a cost of living crisis, we hope that this may help families to get out and about more over the summer holidays and have some local days out that are fun and budget-friendly And it’s a great deal for grandparents to enjoy a day out with younger children too.”

“It will give young people the opportunity to meet up with friends without needing to rely on Mum and Dad for a lift – which is often a problem in rural areas like ours.”

“As well as providing essential transport links for local people who rely on public transport to get around, our aim has always been to get more people out of their cars and onto the bus. This is key to fighting climate change. We hope that by giving young people the opportunity to try out the bus for free over the summer holidays, we might convert a few into lifelong bus users!”
