Barbershop Quartet pop-up performances

Local singers “Something for the Weekend?” will be performing in Newent on the afternoon of 16 March. 1 pm in the Market Square, 2 pm outside the big Co-op and 6 pm at Cobblers in Church Street. It’s unaccompanied harmony singing, with a repertoire including some Beatles, Billy Joel, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Flying Pickets among others. They’ll be collecting for Sheppard House day care centre.
